Calendar Art

Last term we worked hard to create a Kiwiana themed print art. We created our own prints by drawing either a kiwi, a hokey pokey ice-cream cone, or a rugby ball. We drew our drawings onto cardboard and cut them out. Then we drew some korus and added them to our prints. We waited a long time for it to dry, and finally we were able to print them onto paper. First we used white paint onto black paper. Then we each picked a colour we liked and printed out our design onto white paper. Finally we used black paint to print our design onto coloured paper. Here are the ones we picked for calendar art. Please come and see them on our classroom window. They are fantastic!
